Mosie Lister, one of the outstanding gospel composers of our day, began serious songwriting for gospel groups in the late 1940s and in 1948 became the arranger for the renowned Statesmen. In 1953 Mosie began publishing his songs under the banner of Mosie Lister Publications, merging with Lillenas in 1969. He was elected to the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 1976.
